Nyaay Kala
Nyaay Kala is an exhibition featuring original works by artists, each piece reinterpreting one of India’s most significant constitutional law judgements. In transforming landmark legal decisions into powerful visual stories that centre the people behind them, these artworks go beyond the courtroom, turning legal precedents into compelling visual narratives that resonate with contemporary audiences.
The exhibition fosters open dialogue on justice, making it more relatable and inclusive; as a concept that belongs to all of us, in our shared spaces, memories, and collective imagination.
The exhibition was originally showcased at the India Habitat Centre in March 2026. This was followed by an exhibition at the Supreme Court of India in April 2026, held in collaboration with the Supreme Court Bar Association and the National Judicial Museum and Archive.
The journey of forcibly displaced persons is often long and fraught with uncertainty, a reality that remains hidden from public consciousness.
Passage to Asylum, held at the International Centre, aimed to place these deeply personal experiences of displacement within the broader context of asylum laws and the systems that underpin them.
